Swank Lighting is delighted to welcome Genevieve Addison

As most of you know, Doug and I have not been the best at keeping our blog up to date with great new posts. It’s been the biggest disappointment to us as well. The problem is…. and it’s a good problem, Swank Lighting has been so successful since we launched our web site and opened our Showroom in Dallas that we just haven’t had time to devote to fulfilling our blog’s mission.
We were recently approached by a delightful and bright young woman who is in her senior year at Louisiana State University school of Design and Studio Art. Genevieve took the time to send us such a nice note about her impressions of SwankLighting.com and offered her services should we need an “intern or couple of extra hands” in the spring of 2009 when she graduates from LSU.
Well we exchanged a few emails and I’m sure much to Genevieve’s surprise we hired her two days later to help us do just that. Genevieve will focus her efforts entirely on finding great topics of interest to all of us in this wonderful world of decorative lighting, and post them here regularly on our blog.
In fact Genevieve has jumped right in and written an interesting little piece on Hollywood Regency designer Billy Haines. Coming up next.
