Atlanta residents have had the chance to view Swank Lighting lamps in person for some time now, as the lovely and gorgeous store
The Mercantile in Atlanta carries a number of great-looking Swank Lighting Lamps in their showroom. For a short time last April and May, Atlanta residents were also able to view our gorgeous lamps in their best light: a home! Several of Swank Lighting’s lamps were featured in the beautiful show homes of the The Decorators Showcase Home and Gardens event, that was held from April 18th to May 10th in Atlanta.
Now in it’s 39th year, the showcase of Atlanta’s best designers and goods is put on by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. The showcase this year brings an exciting change to this city tradition: instead of being held in a house the event is taking place in the St. Regis Residences. Broken up into three design options—transitional, traditional and contemporary—this year’s event will feature the talents of 26 Atlanta area interior designers and landscape designers!
Swank Lighting lamps can be seen in the Master Bedroom and Suite of the Transitional unit. Designed by Alison and Cheryl Womack of Womack Interiors, this bedroom and sitting room features soft, fresh colors in a modern yet comfortable style. They chose to use some of our vintage Murano lamps in colors that compliment beautifully the color palette chosen for the space: light whites and grays punctuated with punches of mustard yellow and light creams.
While gorgeous interiors are great, I think we’d all agree designing for a good cause is even better! All proceeds from this event go to benefit the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Learning Community.
