This Week's Top 5 Favorite 1stdibs Items: A Modern Winter Wonderland!

The weather has been getting more and more cold down here in Texas, and we've even been promised some snow later this week. In honor of our new (and somewhat strange after months and months of hot) frigid temperatures we thought we'd gather some decidedly winter-themed items out of this week's 1stdibs new listings. 1) Early 19th Century Chippendale Ball and Claw Feet Wing Chair
You see a plain white wing chair; I see an antique snowy white chair fit for Santa Claus himself! The gorgeous shape of this chair is further accentuated by the simple upholstery, and we love its clean white color.

We love this modern steel and glass chandelier from Italy, and can't help but feel like it's a modern take on the snowflake shape. Like our attempts with the above floor lamp, comparing this fixture to a snowflake might be a bit of stretch, but you can't deny its sleek, cool and winter-y feel.

4) Italian 1970's mirror
This fabulous 1970's glossy white mirror tricked us at first glance. When we first saw it, we thought we noticed another modern snow flake shape! Upon closer examination it appears to be octopus tentacles that surround the frame, but we still think it looks great.

5) Charles Kuhn Gstaad poster
Last but not least is this fabulous ski poster from 1930s Switzerland, perfect for adding to an indoor winter wonderland to help make a room feel more snowy. There's so much excitement and energy in this poster you'll feel like it's skiing right off your wall!
