We've got another Chicago-based designer to show today, and this time not only with a unique style, but a unique name! We like the look of designer Edyta Czajkowska's style for spaces.
Another designer who treasures simplicity and functionality in spaces, Edyta's spaces can really be summed up in one word: lovely. Feminine but not overly so, Edyta's spaces are also accessible in that you just feel like they could be a place you could live in. Nothing is overly fussy or complicated; kids, pets and any member of the family could enjoy these spaces equally. She definitely seems to treasure warm colors; we saw a lot of reds, pinks, purples, oranges and yellows show up as accent colors and main colors in the palettes of her spaces. She also seems to lean toward the use of flower motifs and patterns. Again, nothing too girly-more like flowery in a nature sense than a girly sense.
She seems to really appreciate wood and wood tones, using them both sparingly for pops of nature and heavy for really natural spaces. She also respects straight lines and their modern feel, but also understands that spaces need that balancing curve and organic feel, too.
Edyta, along with being naturally talented, also comes with a lot of educational experience: she's got a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). With a long list of services she provides, it's clear that she understands that a home needs to be customized for each client.
