Contemporary Designer Profile: Deb Reinhart!

We love showcasing contemporary designers on our Swank Lighting blog, not just because we like looking at gorgeous interiors, but because we always hope to gain inspiration from experts in the field for our own homes. Most of the time, we just have to get ideas from the interior photos themselves, but every now and then we find a designer who likes to share their knowledge, like today's contemporary designer Deb Reinhart.

Reinhart's style is definitely a wonderfully eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary elements that mingle together to create really layered and exceptional spaces. We love all the interiors we see in her online portfolio; they are some of the most sophisticated and richly decorated rooms we've ever seen.

Of course, one of our favorite things about her rooms are how darn comfortable they look. Sure, they're full and rich and filled-to-the-brim with décor, but they also look like the kind of spaces that you want to curl up with a book, a puppy and blanket and just laze away an afternoon.

Full of color, texture, materials and more, Reinhart has a masterful way with any type of style and look, and you can tell that her clients love her for her ability to create a space that fits their personality perfectly.

We really love that she seems to have fearlessness with her interior design, mixing colors and textures boldly, but somehow making it all work and look cohesive. That in itself takes a lot of skill and talent.

And skill and talent Reinhart certainly possesses. She has 25 years of experience in the field, and she is also active in the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). But one of our favorite things about Deb is that she talks about each project on her website, so as you look through photos you can see what it is that makes each room work.

Love what you see in this post but want more? Like fun perfect pairs, designer influence profiles and profiles of contemporary designers? Thank goodness for you we've got a Facebook page and tweet a lot; you can keep up with everything Swank Lighting does.
