Flickr Features: Mid-Century Inspiration!

We’re debuting another new series here on Swank Lighting’s blog called “Flickr Features.” Inspired by other design blog series like Desire to Inspire’s “Flickr Finds,” each week we’ll bring to you a set of photos having to do with lamps, lighting, décor---you name it---in order to inspire your own creative spaces.

Today’s post is all about Mid-Century lighting. The 1950’s and 1960’s were such a distinctive time in our design history, and it doesn’t take an expert to be able to spot a piece from that style. We found a few inspiring images while searching through Flickr of some awesome Mid-Century styled lighting fixtures and want to share them with you (and just in time for the new season of Mad Men)!
