Continuing with our new weekly series of bringing you contemporary designer profiles of designers with exquisite tastes, today we have the fabulous interior designs of Sherrill Canet, who heads up Sherrill Canet Interiors.
Looking through Canet’s comprehensive portfolio, it’s not hard to see why she’s been so successful in this field so long: the interiors she has designed are sophisticated, bright, bold, complex and comfortable. Her website cites “her ability to create stunningly beautiful interiors” and we couldn’t agree more—stunning is the exact word that pops into mind when seeing a photograph of a room Canet has designed.
Because Canet and her firm work with a number of different clients, the scope of her work has been varied: some spaces have been modern, some more traditional, but all drop-dead gorgeous. As for a common thread or theme that runs through all of Canet’s work and sets it apart from other designers, Canet loves eclectic mixes in spaces—deftly pairing modern pieces with traditional antiques seamlessly.
