This Week's Top 5 Favorite 1stdibs Items: Treasure Storage!

Sometimes you just need a place in your home where you can store your favorite treasures. Like your grandmother's china. Or those gorgeous textiles you bought on your last trip to India. Keeping your treasures safe doesn't have to be complicated and it should look good. You don't have to have a huge piece---no giant wall-sized library---but it should be sufficient for whatever your treasures are. This week's newest listings from 1stdibs are full of great trunks, cabinets and dressers that would house plenty of great things---treasured or not!

1) Exotic Anglo -Indian traveling desk
Speaking of storing gorgeous textiles...this Anglo-Indian desk would make a great spot for such home goodies, well, small textiles anyway. But, the functionality of this piece is really what wins us over...it's also a desk! Adorable!

2) Contemporary glass cabinet by Roberto Rida
Oh this piece is just so gorgeous. We love the geometric pattern on the exterior of this piece---so dizzying it might confuse any people trying to get to your treasures! Also it would look fabulous as well.

3) A Jean Royere Chest of Drawers
We love the contrasts in this piece. It's got a sturdy feel to it due to the material used, but it's also light-feeling because it's lifted so high off the ground with cool legs. And the hardware is so neat and unique!

This pair is for when you have a lot of great treasures. These two modern cabinets are simple, straightforward and have a great Mid-Century feel!

5) Cabinet by Robert Mallet-Stevens
From the 1930s, we love that this piece is so tall and narrow---great for small spaces---but also that it has an industrial and futuristic look. Super cool!
